Some Keys To Understanding

Simplicity is the key to an effective message. An impressive yet overly complex idea serves no good purpose when only the messenger can understand it. A simple message can more easily take root in someone's mind and resonate with them.

An Enriching Life

Live in the moment, appreciate what you encounter for what it is. Events and people can enrich your life in unpredictable ways. Life is lived to the fullest when you aren't preoccupied by other thoughts and troubles of the present, or past.

Feedback

When providing feedback it is important to be mindful of who your are speaking with. If you fail to take into account the person's perspective, you threaten to come of in a manner that will hinder your message and any progress you might want to achieve.

The Ideal Job

There Is Joy To Be Found In Everyhing You Do, Find It In All Things And You Won't Have To Work A Day In Your Life

Thoughts On Childhood

Childhood and early adult years is a very prosperous time. The mind can drift in ways that one who is burdened with everyday life may want to but cannot spare the time or the effort. During childhood you are taken care of so can bloom in any number of ways, in adulthood most effort is focused on simply surviving.

Actions and Perception

What actions you take do not define who you are. However, your actions affect how people see you, which is equally important. It is essential to watch your actions because they might be perceived differently than what you might have intended.

Capacity

This quote caught my eye one morning as I was traveling to school on the bus:

"Every Man Takes The Limits Of His Own Vision For The Limits Of The World" -- Arthur Schopenhauer

Certainty

Certainty is a luxury. Moving forward while being certain of one's decision and outcome is something that leaves the heart and mind at ease. However: character, judgment, and confidence is built when you are able to progress while uncertain about where you are heading, and what the outcome might be. If you are able to endure the fog and look back to see what you have left, a newfound sense of yourself can be realized

Communication

You can only truly know your own experience: The word is love, but how can anyone ever know the feeling I describe as love toward you is the same love that you say you feel...I can't know, is your pain the same as mine? Pleasure? Its a problem with language and communication that will remain unresolved.

My Philosophy On Expression

All you can be is you, so be you to the best of your ability despite external constraints. Express yourself like your life depends on it. You only have one.
